Every year the High Sheriff confers a number of awards upon those who have shown outstanding dedication to their communities in Gwent. This year, the High Sheriff of Gwent will have three categories of awards.
Individual Awards
These will be conferred upon individuals who have shown outstanding dedication to their communities in Gwent. As the High Sheriff's theme for the year is to promote opportunity for young people, this year the High Sheriff particularly welcome nominations of those showing considerable dedication to the service of the youth of Gwent. Of course, nominations for service generally are also welcome.
